Chilanzar district — over 300,000 residents and about 1,000 residential buildings, most built in the 1960s-70s. In 2025, we completed 840 jobs in Chilanzar. Key finding: regular weekly cleaning doesn't work here — a completely different approach is needed.
Three main problems with old Chilanzar buildings
1. Limescale in tubs and on faucets
Water in Chilanzar is hard — over 40 years, thick limescale forms on tub enamel, in toilets, and on faucets. Regular products like Sanox don't work. We use:
- Hydrochloric acid-based products (Tana Chemie SR)
- Mechanical cleaning with melamine sponges
- Steam cleaner for grout between tiles
2. Greasy dust on kitchens
Chilanzar kitchens are big and used often for cooking. A 10-year-uncleaned hood absorbs kilograms of grease. We:
- Disassemble hood filters
- Soak in hot grease solvent (Kiehl Profi-Fett)
- Wash top and inside
3. Dust behind furniture and in carpets
Chilanzar apartments often have heavy furniture that hasn't moved in 20+ years. Beneath: centimeter-thick dust layers. Our plan:
- Carefully move furniture (sometimes 2 people)
- Industrial Kärcher NT 30/1 vacuum
- Wash floor with special antibacterial
Cost to "restore" a Chilanzar flat
General cleaning of 45 m² 2-bedroom — $105-135. If not cleaned for 5+ years, add 30-40% for work volume.
